Instrumentation Loop Check Checklist
A checklist for instrument technicians and commissioning engineers proving loops end to end: field device, wiring and marshalling, controller I/O, and the HMI. Use it one loop at a time, on screen or printed - checkbox state is not saved between visits. It reflects common practice; your site’s procedures and sign-off forms govern.

Inject at the field device terminals (preferred, because it proves the wiring) or at marshalling if the device end is inaccessible, and read the result in the controller.
