Does Merobix work with Modbus RTU wellhead controllers?
Yes. Merobix supports Modbus RTU over serial RS-485 - the standard protocol for most wellhead controllers, RTUs, and flow computers used in upstream oil and gas.
Can Merobix monitor tank batteries and separator systems?
Yes. Tank batteries and separator systems are among the most common Merobix deployments. We monitor tank level, wellhead pressure, separator pressure, flowline temperature, and gas flow rate - all with HIHI/HI/LO/LOLO thresholds.
Is the hardware suitable for Class 1 Division 2 hazardous locations?
Yes. We recommend the Red Lion RAM-9000 for C1D2 environments - standard at wellhead pads, tank batteries, and compressor stations in the Permian Basin. The RAM-6000 and Raspberry Pi 4 provide lower-cost alternatives for non-hazardous installations.
How does Merobix handle poor cellular coverage in remote areas?
The Merobix gateway stores data locally when connectivity drops and syncs automatically when restored - no data gaps. For very remote sites, we support satellite uplinks and extended polling intervals.

Yes - Merobix is designed for operators of all sizes. Many of our customers are independent producers managing 5–50 wells. There are no minimum site requirements, and our pricing scales with the number of connected sites so small operators pay proportionally less.
Does Merobix support water and wastewater treatment plants?
Yes. Merobix connects to pump stations, lift stations, and treatment plant PLCs for municipal and industrial water systems. We support Modbus, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols commonly found in water infrastructure, and provide compliance-ready data logging.
Which industries does Merobix currently serve?
