Confirm the gateway reaches your platform, not just the carrier network, because attaching to cellular and reaching your host are two different milestones. A SIM can attach perfectly and still be unable to reach your server if the plan, APN, or routing is wrong. Only when the device appears in your monitoring is the site truly commissioned.
